Work together to pass stronger protections for workers

The Tasmanian Forest Products Association has today called on all parties and independents to work together in the Legislative Council next week to pass into law stronger protections for workers.

“There is an urgent need to protect Tasmanian workplaces and workers from invasions and blockades by passing stronger laws”, TFPA CEO Nick Steel said.

“This issue is above politics, it’s about stronger protections for workers and we are calling on all sides of politics to work together to pass stronger laws through the upper house next week.”
